A few notes before you write
- Corrections. If something on a page looks wrong or out of date, include the page link and what you saw. We review corrections under our Editorial Policy.
- We can’t give site-specific electrical advice. For generator hookups, transfer switches, or anything involving your home’s wiring, talk to a licensed electrician and check your local codes.
- Emergencies. If you smell gas or a CO alarm goes off, get outside and call 911 or your gas utility. Don’t email us.
